EV charger installation, Penrith.
Solar tie-ins, garage installs, three-phase upgrades.
NSW-licensed EV charger installation across Penrith and Western Sydney — part of our wider EV charger installation across Sydney coverage. Freestanding houses, garages, carports, and Endeavour Energy connection applications handled in-house. Fixed price quoted before a cable is run — solar tie-ins, garage installs, and three-phase upgrades all covered. One team from site assessment to certificate of compliance.
The Penrith house rules.
Penrith homes were built for cars, not for EVs. Older switchboards, long garage runs, and Endeavour Energy connection requirements are the reality here. We know all three.
We live and work in Western Sydney.
Our crew operates out of Western Sydney — not a central Sydney dispatch floor that considers Penrith a day job. We know the Endeavour Energy service territory, we handle connection applications for 22kW three-phase installs directly, and we understand the physical layout of Penrith homes: the far side of a double garage can be 15 metres from the meter box on a standard 2750 block, and we account for that before we quote.
We know the local switchboards.
Penrith's housing stock spans 1970s and 1980s brick-veneer homes in Cambridge Park and Kingswood through to newer estates in Glenmore Park and Jordan Springs. Older boards often need an assessment before a 32A EV circuit can be added. We carry parts for both eras. No mid-job delays waiting on hardware.
One number, one team.
The electrician who does your site assessment is the electrician who runs the cable. No handoff to a subcontractor. No back-and-forth between a sales rep and an installer. If something needs adjusting on the day, we sort it.
"No "we found something else" surprises.
We quote a fixed price before work starts. If the scope is genuinely different from what the site assessment showed, we re-quote and you approve before we go any further. The number you see is the number on the invoice.
The EV charger index.
Four services covering the most common Penrith installation setups — from a single-phase garage install to a solar-paired Zappi on an older brick-veneer. Compatible with Tesla Model Y, Model 3, BYD Atto 3, Polestar 2, Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 6 — the most common EVs on Penrith driveways.
Single-phase 7kW install
The standard choice for most Penrith houses. Evnex E2 Plus, Zappi, or Tesla Wall Connector — mounted in the garage or on an external wall adjacent to the carport, weatherproofed, commissioned, and app-paired on the day. Fixed price all-inclusive. Includes up to 15 metres of cabling from your meter box, RCD protection, and a certificate of electrical compliance.
Solar + EV bundle
Penrith has some of the highest residential solar penetration in NSW — and a smart charger is the most effective way to use that investment. We install Zappi with eco mode configured to divert your surplus solar generation directly into the car before it leaves the property, and Evnex with solar scheduling enabled. The result: free kilometres from midday export, not peak-rate grid power. We assess your inverter compatibility at the site visit and configure everything during commissioning. If you already have solar and want to add an EV charger, this is the right conversation to start.
Three-phase 22kW install
Faster charging for newer EVs and commercial properties. Includes a switchboard load assessment and, where required, an Endeavour Energy connection application for three-phase supply in the Penrith area. We manage that application directly — you don’t need to deal with Endeavour Energy separately.
Strata and dual-occupancy
Most Penrith enquiries are from freestanding homes, but the Thornton precinct at Penrith CBD and a number of dual-occupancy properties in the area do have shared electrical infrastructure. We handle owners corporation permission documentation and sub-metering where required. Available on request — ask when you get a quote.

We supply and install Australia’s most trusted EV charger brands — every unit warranted, app-connected, and installed to AS/NZS 3000 standards.
Whether you drive a Tesla, Hyundai, Kia, BMW, or any other EV — SRS installs the right charger for your vehicle, home, and lifestyle.

What the locals say.
Frequently asked.
A standard 7kW single-phase install in a Penrith home typically takes 3–4 hours, including the switchboard check, cabling run, mounting, commissioning, and app pairing. If you have a long run from the meter box to a rear garage — which is common on larger Penrith blocks — allow for the extra cabling time, though this is factored into the quote upfront. A solar tie-in with Zappi eco mode configuration adds around an hour. A 22kW three-phase upgrade runs longer — budget for a full half-day, plus the Endeavour Energy application lead time before the circuit can be energised.
Penrith is in the Endeavour Energy distribution network. For a standard 7kW single-phase install, your licensed electrician handles compliance under their NSW electrical licence — no separate application to Endeavour Energy is required. For a 22kW three-phase install, a Connection Application to Endeavour Energy is mandatory before the new circuit can be energised. We manage that process directly, including preparing and lodging the application documentation. Approval typically takes two to four weeks; we let you know timing when we quote.
Yes — and it is one of the most common requests we get in this area. Penrith has very high residential solar penetration, and pairing a smart charger with your existing system is straightforward when the right hardware is used. The Zappi charger has a built-in eco mode that monitors your solar export and diverts surplus generation into the car instead of sending it back to the grid. Evnex supports solar scheduling for similar results. We assess your inverter at the site visit to confirm compatibility — most brands installed in Penrith homes work without issue. If you already have rooftop solar and an EV, the solar+EV bundle (SRS-EV-02) is the right starting point.
Yes — all four suburbs are within our standard Penrith service area with no travel surcharge. We also cover Werrington, South Penrith, Jamisontown, St Marys, and surrounding suburbs across the 2750 postcode corridor. If you are further out — Emu Plains, Blaxland, or Penrith LGA fringe areas — ask when you enquire and we will confirm availability and timing.
The fixed-price 7kW install covers: site assessment, the charger unit, an RCD, weatherproof enclosure, up to 15 metres of cabling from your meter box to the install point, commissioning, app pairing, and a certificate of electrical compliance. No travel fee within the Penrith area. If your run is longer than 15 metres — which can happen on larger Penrith blocks or rear-garage properties — additional cabling is quoted separately and you approve before any work starts. Switchboard upgrades are quoted separately if an assessment finds one is needed. Solar tie-in configuration is included in the SRS-EV-02 bundle price.
Most current EVs on Penrith driveways — Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, BYD Atto 3, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Polestar 2 — accept a Type 2 connector and charge comfortably overnight on a 7kW single-phase circuit. If you want faster charging and your vehicle supports a higher onboard charger rate, a 22kW three-phase install is available for compatible EVs — check your car’s spec sheet or ask us at the site assessment. For Tesla owners specifically, we supply and install the Tesla Wall Connector. We confirm compatibility at the site visit and recommend the right charger for your vehicle and Penrith property setup before any work starts.
